PattiPatti Rosenberg has a long history of devoting her time and energy to young children. A graduate of University of Delaware, she has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Special Education with a minor in psychology. She has also completed over 60 graduate credits in the areas of autism and counseling psychology. She has taught Preschool and Kindergarten at Weaver Day School since 2000. Prior to that, she taught eight years for the Christina School District as a special educator, with additional certifications. Throughout her college years, she worked at the Meadowood School for children with multiple disabilities. Professional commendations include 1999 Teacher of the Year for the statewide Delaware Autistic Program and year 2000 finalist for the same award. Special assignments have included positions as mentor teacher for the Christina School District and cooperating teacher for the University of Delaware students completing their student teaching in elementary and special education. At Weaver Day School, Patti has acted a cooperating teacher for students pursuing early childhood education. She is currently supervising a master's level student teacher in coordination with Millersville University. Patti has two daughters of her own.

LauraLaura has a passion for learning and working with children. She started as a nanny in 2008 as she pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Ashford University where she graduated in 2011. From there she worked at a daycare as a substitute working with children from 6 weeks old to 5 years old. She has attended many workshops on child development, and curriculum trainings, and is first aid and CPR certified. She continued on to be promoted to a toddler teacher for two years. She recently received her Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Special Education from Ashford University. She is currently continuing her education at Millersville University.

KimMiss Kim has 20 years of experience in the child care field. Upon graduation from Oxford Area High School, she provided private services as a nanny for 3 years. She then worked as a toddler teacher at a daycare center for more than 4 years before joining our staff. Since 2002, Kim has been working with children of all ages at Weaver Day School. Miss Kim currently teaches our "Toddler Time" class, an interactive and stimulating program that she developed for our 2-3 year-olds. Miss Kim's "Toddler Time" prepares our little ones to enter our preschool classes by encouraging them to participate in storytime, singing, and craft projects. Kim also cares for own two boys. Each year she completes six hours of childcare training courses and is certified in first aid.

MonicaMonica began working with us part-time in 2000 while still a high school student. She graduated from Oxford Area High School in 2001 and continued to work at Weaver Day School with children of all ages. She has completed coursework in Early Childhood Education and psychology at Harrisburg Area Community College. Monica's warm nature and patience makes her a valuable addition to our staff. In addition to working at Weaver Day School, Monica cares for her own son. She has also nannied and provided private child care for more than ten years.

AlisonAlison's tenure at Weaver Day School began as a small child attending daycare in 1993, and she has been with us ever since. As a high school student, she took two years of childcare classes and began volunteering with us as an after school helper. After graduation from Oxford Area High School in 2008, Alison became a full-time staff member working with children of all ages. She completed a degree in Early Childhood Education at Delaware County Community College in 2010. Alison has spent countless hours providing private childcare services for many of the families at our school and now has her own son. She also completes six hours of childcare credits yearly and is certified in first aid.

StephanieStephanie began working with our younger children in 2014. She is a graduate of Oxford Area High School. While attending OAHS, she worked as a helper at the school's preschool program. She currently attends Cecil County Community College. Stephanie completes child care credits yearly and is certified in first aid.

MichaelaMichaela is Patti's daughter. She attended Weaver Day School as an infant through kindergarten. She graduated from Oxford Area High School and is now a college student at Millersville University. Michaela works with children of all ages at Weaver Day School. She has had many years of dance training. She teaches a hip hop dance class for our summer program.
